Breaking away from the typical use of a blog, this is a team blog for our Wasatch Back Relay Team.  The aim of this blog is to not only keep us on track for the 2010 race, but also to promote an active and healthy lifestyle.  I’m planning to periodically post updates on group runs and local races, links to running articles, and accomplishments to this blog; therefore, stay tune.--Rossy

Notes:  I’m planning on and looking forward to attending this one.  The main purpose of this group run is to keep people on schedule to run either the Salt Lake City full or half Marathon on April 17th.  However, regardless of what you are training for, this group run is open to runners of all abilities.  Lastly, rain or shine, they will be hosting this group run.

Cold Weather Running Clinic

Location: Salt Lake Running Company Highland Drive

Time: 7:00 pm

Free cold weather clinic that will cover running on red burn days, on the ice, as well as how to dress to stay warm.  Free pair of Saucony socks to everyone that attends.

Notes:  Last week, we ran a little over 8 miles; however, this week the training plan (see link below) calls for only 4 miles.  Again, the main purpose of this group run is to keep people on schedule to run either the Salt Lake City full or half Marathon on April 17th.  However, regardless of what you are training for, this group run is open to runners of all abilities.  Lastly, regardless of the weather, they will be hosting this group run.

Notes:  Last week, we ran 6.5 miles, this week the training plan (see link below) calls for a 9-10 mile run.  Once again, the main purpose of this group run is to keep people on schedule to run either the Salt Lake City full or half Marathon on April 17th.  With that said, regardless of what you are training for, this group run is open to runners of all abilities.  Finally, no matter how cold, snowy, and wet the weather, they will be hosting this group run.
